In this context, <strong>LED railway lighting<\/strong> and <strong>structural upgrades to shelters<\/strong> are two key pillars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FIDA Srl, a leader in integrated mobility solutions, recently completed an upgrade project at Treviso Station, delivering a modern system that fully meets RFI\u2019s (Rete Ferroviaria Italiana) requirements in terms of efficiency, safety and maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The challenge: modernizing the passenger experience and maximizing efficiency<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The project was initiated to overcome the structural and lighting limitations of the existing facilities, focusing on r<strong>egulatory compliance<\/strong> and improved user experience. The <strong>\u201cturnkey\u201d<\/strong> approach covered the entire project lifecycle, from the detailed design of the power system (normal, emergency, DALI) to the supply and installation of all components.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This integrated mandate included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Design and installation of the dedicated power system<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supply and installation of state-of-the-art <strong>T-LED<\/strong> lamps<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Construction of the <strong>substructure and shelter cladding<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The FIDA T-LED Lighting System with DALI Protocol<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>At the heart of the project is the new <strong>high-efficiency railway lighting system <\/strong>designed and installed by FIDA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A total of 92 <strong>T-LED lamps<\/strong>, each measuring 1700 mm long, were installed. These luminaires were specifically selected for their <strong>high IP65 protection rating<\/strong>, essential for withstanding the harsh environmental conditions of outdoor shelters (humidity and dust). This technology enables remote management of every single light point, a key principle of <strong>Smart Mobility<\/strong>. The DALI protocol allows dynamic adjustment of lighting based on real-time needs and traffic, resulting in significant energy savings and proactive, diagnostic monitoring of the network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Construction of the Substructure and Shelter Cladding<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond lighting, FIDA provided targeted <strong>structural upgrades<\/strong> to optimize long-term management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project included the installation of approximately 13,000 m\u00b2 of shelter <strong>cladding<\/strong> using ALUCOBOND composite panels.
